Techelet Mordechai is a twelve volume set of booklets (in Hebrew) containing discussions on parshat hashavua by Harav Mordechai Elon, Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshivat Horev. Rav Elon, a student of the thought of Harav Avraham Yitzchak Hacohen Kook, has become well known in Israel for his weekly shiurim which attract over 1000 participants and are transmitted on the radio. The discussions published in Techelet Mordechai follow the format of his weekly shiurim, in which Rav Elon masterfully weaves a variety of Biblical and Rabbinic texts around a central theme. The theme often relates subtly to current issues in modern Jewish and Israeli life.
