Religious Zionist Album
Work is beginning on a 400 page volume that will chronicle the history and
development of Religious Zionism from its inception until the present day. The Religious
Zionist Album, which is being developed by the World Council in cooperation with the
Jewish National Fund, will serve as a resource for research on this subject as well as a
pedagogical tool for the teaching of Religious Zionism.
The work will include five sections:
1.The History of Religious Zionism - From Rav Reines through Gush Emunim
2. Sociological, Political, and Anthropological Perspectives on Religious
Zionism
3. Ideological Trends in Religious Zionism
4. Educational Innovations in the Religious Zionist Community
5. Religious Zionist Personalities
The following are examples of the many and varied topics that will be
included in the work:
1. The Relationship between Religious Zionism and other Zionist Movements
(i.e. Political, Socialist, Cultural, etc.)
2. The Uganda Plan
3. The Development of Kibbutz Hadati, the Religious Kibbutz Movement
4. Reactions to the Holocaust in Religious Zionism
5. New Educational Institutions:

Hammer z"l, a leader of the Religious Zionist Movement. |
